Thank you for visiting us. My name is Kohei Moritya. I am the founder of Educonnect Japan. I've been to American for 3 years and graduated from Merced College in 2024. I transffered to the University of the People as a business administration major. The reason behind launching this service stems from my initial struggles when I arrived in the United States. I found it challenging to grasp English as the Japanese community around me predominantly didn't speak the language. It was during this tough period that local American students played a crucial role in brightening my days. They not only assisted me with my English essays but also joined me on shopping trips, making my integration smoother. Spending time with them significantly boosted my English proficiency, for which I'm sincerely thankful.
Now, I’m excited to pay it forward and support others around the world. That’s what inspired me to launch this service. With the growing global popularity of anime and Japanese culture, many people are learning Japanese or even thinking about moving to Japan. Having gone through the challenges of learning a new language ourselves, we truly understand what they’re going through—and we want to help. Our goal is to keep improving this service and make it accessible to learners everywhere.
